  1. That is an innovative way to find food, born from past desperation one would think. Another unique view of sea ice is from the French . Under the Pole expedition

    I think so too (based on my own reluctance to go under the ice and risk being trapped or crushed). Likely other food options were not available or viable, and this was one of the choices where food was still plentiful.

  3. Thnx for that- I have spent some time in the high arctic of Canada and Greenland. Nice to hear an Inuit accent again.
