  1. waaaaayyyy off-topic, but the Falkowski lecture you liked last year – there is a good “version” of it up on Youtube. Slides are good, volume is a little light on my set-up.

    In the “version” I saw in Toronto, he talked more about energy futures; discussed how changes in human cultural information transmission which may have originated with FOXP2 mutations has altered our relationship with the environment; red queen discussion you highlighted. (Those were taken up in the pdf I sent you way back…).

    So, it’s a slightly different flavour than I saw, but it’s still a fascinating 60 minutes.
