The Danish Tailor and Emperor Establishment

The vestment of credibility proffered by Lomborg to those opposing substantial mitigation efforts is as imaginary as the clothes in Andersen’s parable. How long before the pundits and Serious Thinkers who heralded Lomborg as one of their own [Time magazine named Lomborg one of the world’s 100 most influential people in 2004. In 2008 he was named “one of the 50 people who could save the planet” by the UK Guardian; “one of the top 100 public intellectuals” by Foreign Policy and Prospect magazine; and “one of the world’s 75 most influential people of the 21st century” by Esquire] acknowledge that he’s left them naked and mocked?

Kåre Fog, John Mashey, Climate Progress, Tim Lambert, Rabett Run, this blog, and others have been trying to tell them for ages.

  1. You should maybe include links to

By the way, on Project Syndicate Lomborg recently participated in the slating of IPCC:

Who is he to do that? IPCC made probably up to 6 small errors in a report of 3,000 pages. That is one small error per 500 pages. Who else is able to keep an error rate that low?
Lomborg has more than 500 errors in 500 pages of text. And he thinks he is in a position to slate IPCC?
