  1. Pretty cool. I had no idea of this behavior. How do they keep the buddles in the shape of a disk – are they using their sonar?

    Their echolocation isn’t involved in the production of the bubbles themselves, but they may be using it to “sight” the bubbles after they form, as well observing them visually.
