Videobreak: So it begins

This past Friday, Nils Olaf, Colonel-in-Chief of the Norwegian King’s Guard, was knighted at Edinburgh Zoo. Do we really want to be giving this King Penguin advanced training and access? Given the potentially ominous fate of his Arctic counterpart due to anthropogenic influence on its habitat and populations and a recent study suggesting human actions could be threatening populations of penguins world-wide, this strikes me as perhaps not the brightest idea.

Aren’t we just begging to face Sir Nils down the road, leading the vanguard forces of a global penguin insurrection?

[Fixed the broken link and corrected an error (Sir Nils had already attained the rank of Colonel-in-Chief prior to the knighting).]
