The world’s 8th largest economy is going to enact a cap and trade program to limit greenhouse gas emissions.
Apparently they didn’t get the memo that cap and trade is “dead”.

Well, they were sent the memo, but they were either too dumb or too stoned to read it.
This is likely to be a disaster for CA.,but it is an excellent idea that they should implement it. It will show the rest of the USA what a crazy idea it is.
Over here in Europe we have had an emissions trading scheme for years. It has been both ineffective in curbing emissions and the subject of huge fraud.
Doesn’t British Columbia have a somewhat similar law? I wonder how theirs is working out.
