The Way Things Break

Must read from the Philadelphia Inquirer: Smoke and Mirrors – The Subversion of the EPA

December 10, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The Inquirer has a gripping four part series on the politicization of the EPA [warning, intro has video with sound, so be forewarned and skip if need be] under the outgoing administration and examines the role that its head, Stephen Johnson, played in it all. It’s worth reading in full, but today’s Part Four is highly recommended if you don’t have time to go through the whole thing [Edited to add: Part Four is a run through of the pattern of placing industry ahead of science but doesn't directly deal with climate regulation, parts One, Two, and Three do].

I hope to add some thoughts later today or tonight if I am able.
